The photobook “Những khoảnh khắt thầm lặng” (Silent Moments) has just been published to remember and honor the late photographer Huỳnh Nam who lived in Nha Trang and passed away one year ago.

“SILENT MOMENTS” by the late photographer Huỳnh Nam arrives like a gentle greeting at the beginning of the year, dedicated to young people who love street photography. Within its frames, life still moves with its authentic rhythm – ordinary, raw, and deeply emotional. There are no visual tricks, no staged scenes; only streets and people captured through a patient and compassionate gaze. Huỳnh Nam walked through the streets of Nha Trang in his own way – quietly, persistently, and truthfully.

The images in this book do not seek spectacle or dramatic staging. Instead, they preserve the genuine breath of Nha Trang, a city known for its gentleness and warmth: a passing glance, an everyday moment, a subtle emotion not yet named. This is not merely a collection of photographs, but the trace of a person who walked, observed, and loved this city in his own style over the years.

“SILENT MOMENTS” is also a quiet message to young street photography enthusiasts – frames that still carry the pulse of daily life: simple, sincere, and full of feeling. No special effects, no arrangements; just the streets and their people, seen through a kind and patient lens. That is how Huỳnh Nam moved through the streets of Nha Trang – quietly, persistently, and sincerely.

The photobook is for those who hold a camera and are learning to observe life more slowly — for those who find inspiration in the ordinary moments around them. It is dedicated to young street photographers who believe that a powerful photograph does not come from the equipment you own, but from whether you have the patience to pause and truly see.

“SILENT MOMENTS” was created not simply for remembrance, but to continue the dialogue with the streets…
