Amidst the Sapung Mountains of Bao Loc – often called the “quiet sibling” of Da Lat, just 15km from the town center – Cao Lan Hamlet opens a retreat where nature and green architecture breathe as one. If Da Lat has become familiar, then Bao Loc, with its untouched mountains, drifting clouds, and serene villages, still holds a charm of its own – pristine, contemplative, and sacred.

Stretching across seven hectares, Phase One of the project features nine guest rooms: five traditional wooden stilt houses of the Cao Lan ethnic people (65–75m² each, for 2–4 guests), and one independent four-bedroom villa (330m²) that blends rustic simplicity with refined beauty. In Phase Two, five additional villas with ten new rooms (40–60m² each) will be introduced, offering guests even more to choose from.

A Cultural and Architectural Imprint
Unlike many resorts, Cao Lan Hamlet was born from a love of culture. The stilt houses of the Cao Lan people—treasures shaped through generations of long-term wood gathering and tireless craftsmanship—have been restored and placed gently within the forested mountains of Bao Loc. Their timeworn wooden roofs carry the soul of tradition while opening to contemporary touches, offering guests a rare and distinctive stay.
The architectural vision also lives in the restaurant, with its arched roof inspired by airplane hangars, built entirely from reclaimed wood. It is a space where light, art, and landscape meet in quiet conversation. The infinity pool, nestled halfway up the mountain, looks out over the Loc Thanh Valley—where nature seems to whisper, softly inviting the traveler’s steps.

A Green Retreat Experience
Cao Lan Hamlet is not meant for the many, but for the few who seek a retreat of stillness and depth—a place to reconnect with nature, and with the self.
Here, mornings awaken with the calls of forest birds; afternoons drift into sunsets leaning gently across the porch; and evenings gather guests together over a warm meal and the glow of fire.

The journey extends far beyond rest, into connection:
- Trekking to Tang Kinh Cac for tea, meditation, or reading.
- Workshops in pizza-making, herbal baths, forest planting, coffee harvesting, or seasonal fruit picking (avocado, durian, and more).
- Walking with locals to pick tea, brew it, and hear stories of Bao Loc land.
- Joining the mission to plant 5,000 pine trees and 1,070 multi-species forest trees, nurturing a sustainable forest garden for the future.

A Place for Spirit
Every moment at Cao Lan Hamlet is shaped as a gentle touch of the soul: the breath of fresh mountain air, a herbal soak beneath the stilt house balcony, a silent meditation among the pines, or simply the sound of wind threading through the leaves. Cao Lan Hamlet dreams of becoming a “hamlet of emotions” – with nature, with culture, and with oneself.

Services & Prices
Cao Lan Hamlet belongs to the mid-to-high-end segment, with rates from 3,900,000 – 4,500,000 VND per night for stilt houses (depending on size and occupancy). The independent villa, with its many comforts and private atmosphere, is priced at around 11,000,000++ VND per night—a fitting value for families or close groups seeking something truly special.
Dining here is a delicate fusion of Vietnamese and European cuisine, rooted in local ingredients. Guests may savor a warm, family-style meal or linger with a glass of wine beside dishes crafted for wellness and pleasure.
